I mean, in a sense, the guy is sort of right. I recently learned about the American version of the Macarena song, which I have NEVER heard before because I have always heard the original version fully in Spanish. And, yeah, the original version is totally superior to the English version; English version sucks (no offense to those who like it).
As for the dance… well, I mean, I can’t really crap on it; it is rather easy to do and repeat, and goes along with the beat of the original song. I still dance it to this day at parties…
But, yeah, if this guy was totally against what Americans did with the song, why did they hire HIM to teach people how to dance the Macarena? Unless he lied to those who hired him, pretending he’d do his work, when in reality he has a secret agenda of his own to sabotage the dance and make them dance something else, and still get paid for it.
This is going to end with the teacher duct-taped to a flagpole, isn’t it?
The Macarena won’t help you, bud.

Guy looks almost like a Bond villain 😆
Oh yeah, that’s a good way to teach. Tell your pupils that they suck and should go do something else instead, and not teach them.
Better luck next time, Rick (I think).
