They’re wrong about so much, but right at the same time. I’ve seen every movie mentioned at least once.
Sean- I’ve chalked that down to reboot retelling taking up space. After all, Steve was proven to have a video camera, and a blank tape costs $2 or $3. JB just doesn’t have to reach for new ideas as often as a normal ongoing series’ writer.
I grew up in the era where Blockbuster and Hollywood Video were at its peak. To think there is only one Blockbuster left and Hollywood Video went extinct in 2010. Also, I loved every one of those movies mentioned. Shoutout galore right there.
There should be a story arc where these guys make their own MST3k episodes. There’s some awesome fan made stuff out there, and I bet Joel and the gang would make some great vids.
