@TheJayster99 a piercing only really hurts the first time you get it done. Taking the thing out to replace it or clean it should generally be a painless process, if done correctly. Pulling out a tongue stud at an angle like that would definitely hurt like a motherfucker, though.
You know what would really piss her parents off? If Jocelyn did convert to Christianity, but the person to convert her was a metal and punk rock fan who is everything they claim is against the religion. And he’s not only open minded, but fully comfortable being who he is. Sounds crazy, but we existed.
