Actually, Joel, I think that IS a defense, as you can honestly say you had no knowledge of the extra track.
And is it just me, or it Katy getting taller?
It is… very sadly, a guaranteed outcome that Allie is gonna sue Westworld and Two/Tone over their song being added onto the CD. I don’t know where they’re gonna end up, actually. And I’m afraid it won’t be a good place at all.
@jbwarner86 had said on Discord that Westworld will have a lot to survive in 1994 and beyond. I think this will be the same as with Lindsay at the end of “The Silence of the Linz” storyline in which several stories involving her began to mention her “hidden past” all the way to the “Single Blonde Female” arc.
However, this time Westworld will need all the help they require in order to survive this experience.
At least, Tina is the only one who supports Joel while William only talks about Frank and Katy only want to eat her cake.
Tag yourself, I’m Katy.
Yeah, from a legal perspective, they’re fucked.
@El-Man: She is probably growing taller as she is is getting older.

Well, we now have to sit and wait until the inevitable trial comes.
Also, I thought Katy’s first line was a typo until I realized how it was supposed to sound.

So I guess we won’t bear witness to Allie’s unholy return just yet…but it seems close.
If Joel and co. can provide proof that they weren’t aware that song was added, they shouldn’t be held liable for copyright infringement.
Yeah, things may get worse for Westworld before they get better. Really hope they can find a way out of the bad situation that Chad put them in.
And given that that’s apparently Allie’s song, I doubt she will let that go…
