And Lindsay makes it to the finish line, without blowing it for herself. The new take on the characters seems brighter and better told too. She’s a Lindsay you can root for, while Stacy is all hot air and empty threats. Good guy Lindsay vs a bad guy Lindsay is predictable, but shows how clear the difference is.
While it would be totally off-brand for this comic, I kind of like imagining this is building to a multiverse showdown between Lindsay and a “what if” Lindsay who stayed in California and remained a bitch.
Well, Lindsay got her first victory. However, vile as she was about it, Staci did make a point that Lindsay’s actions in the past can’t be undone and some things can’t be fixed. I got a feeling we will find out what Lindsay was like in the past and what was the catalyst that made her change for the better before she moved to Eden Prairie.
So this all but confirms that Lindsay used to be an alpha bitch too alongside Staci. Which I’m thankful for, to be honest, because I felt making Lindsay nice from the start, while definitely welcoming, undermined her character development from the original.
Certainly curious to see more of their backstory in the hopefully not-too-distant future.

Why do I have a feeling Staci will be coming back to get revenge?
The plot thickens..
I should’ve said “all but outright states” instead of “all but confirms”. Sorry I’ve had bit of a long day and am not thinking too clearly…
Lindsay should go and make amends to all the people she hurt, before Staci tries to use that against her.

Talk about a sore loser.
Okay… so… this is probably the first arc that ended on a bit of a terrifying note…
