Well, judging by Lindsay’s reaction in panel 3, I can only assume that we will learn a few things about her past in this continuity.
I predict it’s going to be something like what she had back in the old continuity (like the beating she got from Jocelyn only with different characters involved in that whole situation). In essence, making this Lindsay one that had her character development from the previous continuity at an earlier point in time (partially to make her a more positive character from the start and partially in order not to re-hash everything from the previous timeline)
Even if I’m wrong, it’s still going to be interesting to see regardless (the arc with Jessica’s return was the one that got me into reading this comic to begin with)
Yeah, Amber and Craig make some good points. They both have every right in the world to be wary of Jessica considering their prior experiences with her and Lindsay should be worried as well. I really don’t know what’s going to happen this arc, but shit’s gonna go down soon enough.
Judging by the fact that she’s claiming to have been washed and cleanses by God proves this is an act. Jimmy Swaggart said the same thing, and he humiliated his congregation in front of millions of people.
A nice ‘strip, give or take. At least it’s full of jokes. And fear!
A few possibly-meta wisecracks. Don’t leave your food unattended, Lindsey, remember Jessica’s take on “Silence of the Lambs”. 🙂
I like that Lindsay’s optimistic, but I also feel like she’s FAR too naive for her own good. When your close friends have a long history with a stuck up beeyotch like Jessica, I think you should listen to their concerns (or at least proceed with more caution than you’re already doing).
Oh, FINALLY, I can comment!
Had some issues on my end recently…
Testing… testing…
Guess we’ll see how Lindsay turned a new leaf, both literally and figuratively. (Notice her leaf earrings that resemble the Super Leaf from Mario 3?)
Also, I guess Staci from the Star Search arc will show up as well in said backstory. She does know Lindsay, so maybe…?
I’d advise Linz to watch “The Devil Wears Prada” but it’s a 2006 film. 😀

@Moart I like her expression in the third panel.
I love Jessica’s expression on the final panel

… I’m legitimately fearing for the safety of every character in this segment.
