I still think it’s weird that Craig didn’t notice that “Lindsay”‘s voice sounded totally different. Even with the lights off (thus preventing him from noticing her lack of suntan), he still should’ve realized something was up the moment she opened her mouth.
@JIMENOPOLIX I think in this case, they’d wave this off as Lindsay is there, literally defending her boyfriend. Acting in self-defense of others is a thing very much NOT looked down upon, especially when it comes to trespassing and sexual assault. Jessica might be tried as an adult and sent to prison for a good long while this time.
Jessica was Craig’s girlfriend before Lindsey moved to Eden Prairie. Craig will likely bemoan the lack of “The girlfriend and the ex” fighting on top of the bed in their underwear. He’s dumb, not shallow, but not everything in a relationship is logical.
As for people like Nick, I think they would have liked the idea of a second Lindsey. Even if it was Jessica, they would think that they ‘had a shot’ with her. So now that Lindsey and Jessica are back in the same room, how will it turn out, fighting or Exposition Fight? It’s not at a party or someplace where Lindsey can give Jessica a Mickey Finn screwdriver drink.
@Ghost: In the old continuity, everybody would’ve turned on Lindsay (at least for a bit) because everybody sucked.
Here? Probably nothing to forgive because A) No one here knew *that* Lindsay, B) I don’t think any of Lindsay’s crew would be willing to give Jessica the win by turning on her.
There will probably be some “BOO LINDSAY” stragglers, but those will be assholes like Nick, anyway.
@TheJayster49 to be fair, the lights weren’t on, so not noticing a tan can be more understandable. With him being closer and the door opened just a bit, could also give enough light for him to see her eyes just to notice something being wrong.
In addition, he could be more concerned about Lindsey’s mental state and trying to be supportive…which probably took away some brain power for him.
That, and most of the comic is in greyscale, so it makes it even harder to notice the differences (jk jk)
@Ghost I think her reputation will suffer a bit. I predict she’ll probably step down from her student government position and leave the cheerleading squad, feeling she isn’t fit to hold those roles.

Busted!! Kick Jessica’s ass, Lindsay!

Okay, they’re both pretty fit, but Lindz isn’t a fighter, she’ll probably lose.
Llllllllllllllllllllllet’s get ready to RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE!!!
Thank god. Fuck her up, Lindsay.
Lindsay’s asking the real question. Most popular kids in media are just bullies who happen to be rich and attractive.
By “make her look bad”, I meant Lindsay.
Wow. So Craig actually caught on right before the action. I’m impressed.
Also, as much as I’d like for Jessica to get her @$$ kicked… won’t this make her look bad?
Kevin, you still there? Call the cops for trespassing and assault (and attempted R-word).
And make sure they don’t confuse the Lindsays.
@Ghost I think her reputation will suffer a bit. I predict she’ll probably step down from her student government position and leave the cheerleading squad, feeling she isn’t fit to hold those roles.
Oooh snap..
How is Lindsay’s reputation gonna be affected in the long run? Is everyone aside from Craig as forgiving as she is?
Craig figuring out it was Jessica because of her voice and NOT the fact that she doesn’t have a tan manages to both impressive and stupid of him.
Although I’m kinda now just realizing that may be why Jessica insisted on keeping the lights off.
Catfight!
