Though if the arc isn’t going in the grimdark direction, Jessica is gonna get caught, and beaten the tar out of herself. And being that she went out of her way to go to Lindsay’s house, and whack her with a frying pan, that’s first-degree assault, and trespassing. And if it goes further, attempted murder. Jessica gets busted, she might be tried as an adult.
@ Jayster: I think it’s easy to assume Jess did a quick spray job between Tuesday & now; not a super long one in a booth, but some “out of a bottle” rush job (I forget if this is still the same day).
The fight is on! The earring instead a ‘flying tooth’ is a good choice. There’s no reason to be gory. Those frying pans can be anywhere from 1 to 15 pounds of face-breaking iron. Winner gets the biscuit earrings.
The question isn’t how can Lindsey live with her persona slandered, it’s how can Jessica live as Lindsey with Lindsey’s persona slandered.
Some people in the comments of the previous strip saw this coming because it happened in the original storyline, and I’m kicking myself for not anticipating it.
The Sunday strip established that Jessica doesn’t even have Lindsay’s tan, so I really hope Craig isn’t THAT dumb to fall for Jessica’s ruse (assuming he’s not under the impression that Lindsay may have just washed away her tan… is her tan natural or is it sprayed on? I mean, the rest of her family all have the same exact tan and Kevin doesn’t strike me as someone who would be willing to go sunbathing).
Still preferable to exploding candy.
Oooh. Lindsay is down for the count. I’m thinking that Craig won’t be able to tell the difference now. This is a very interesting arc.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, crap!
Get here fast, Craig!
(And get a camera while you’re at it!)
Not EXACTLY what I predicted but…shit, meet fan.
Jess… this isn’t going to work the way you think it will
@Zach Kenny I believe its still the same day. She ran home crying, and was on the phone with Craig. Next strip was shortly after they hung up.

Holy fuck… excuse my language. This is a re-hash of Jocelyn’s beatdown on Lindsay. If the original was anything to go by, Lindsay isn’t winning this.

Oh yeah….now I remember why Jessica’s trying to look like Lindsay.
Oh Crap. I knew things were going to escalate. Hopefully, Craig sees through Jessica’s imposter act soon before it goes too far.
I guess the rest of the arc is going to play out similar to the original from here on, with some minor changes in dialogue
Now the question remains: Has Stephanie forgiven Lindsay?
