I don’t mean to be nitpicky, but there is a slight grammatical error in panel 4. I believe you meant “My dad has ALWAYS let me use his checkbook.”, and writing “dad has” as “dad’s” doesn’t make sense, since that would suggest a possessive and “his checkbook” already covers the possessive for the checkbook in that sentence.
Calling it now: Staci bribed her way into going first so that she could ALSO sing “Black Cat”, thus making Lindsay look like a fool when she goes to perform the very same song.
Ah, so Staci is using money to cheat her way to the top. She’ll come crashing down pretty hard. And if Lindsay isn’t the one to do it, more than likely Staci will be hoist by her own petard.
Bribery… Of course Staci would pull that.

Okay, if not “Black Cat”, what will Lindsay choose? Suggestions?

The “Screw the rules, I have money!” card… or check in this case XD
