@Maetch: Especially when “Ape Escape” comes out in 1999, because that was one of the first PlayStation games to fully utilise the DualShock controls.
Oh yeah, and Kevin starts to really like the PlayStation in general because he found one of his first waifus originating from that console. I bet he’d probably go just as crazy for Lara Croft or Tifa Lockhart?
(This is all coming from someone who is a male leaning bisexual, BTW.)
Sorry Michelle, but at this point, Nintendo’s not gonna be king of the hill again for another 13 years. Still, they’ve got the handheld market on a chokehold for forever!
@AstroCitizen Nah, not yet. King of the Hill won’t premiere for another 2 years in the timeline.
The Joystick on the N64 was so improperly placed.
@GumbyIsInnocent:
That reminds me…has the comic done any references to KING OF THE HILL or is it a tad early for that?
Oh yeah, one last thing I forgot to mention is that at least Joel and Michelle recovered from the side effects of being underwater for too long.
So that’s good to see.

Nice to see that Kevin’s recovered from the heartbreak of the Sega Saturn, while Michelle will eat her words once the DualShock is introduced.
@TheJayster99: Both, I think XD

CALL ME QUEEN! Whipcrackwhipcrackwhipcrack!
He was making fun of the PS1 when it was announced.
Guess he changed his mind.
If only Michelle knew how clunky and weird the Nintendo 64 controller would be. lol
Aah, the launch of the Playstation. Battle Arena Toshinden is such an underrated fighting game and Kevin’s expression is hilarious.
And so begins the Reign of PlayStation.
Can’t tell if he’s immersed in the gameplay or if his boner is overtaking him.
Or both.
