Considering Eugene has been bullied, I can understand why he would freak out the way he did.

OUCH. Been there, done that. Hope Katy can alleviate some of his fears.
That said, the “jacket around the waist” look was stupid.
Goodness! Sadly, I recall having similar issues in middle school. Then in High school, I was out in Behavior Disorder and gained a whole new set of issues.
This is the outcome of shyness and bullying.
Well, he does look pretty cool in those outfits.
Also, I guess he does have a good reason to be paranoid.
Unlike Russell, who had no social skills because of him being home-schooled, it seems like Eugene does not want to socialize with no one.
Honestly, speaking from personal experience, I can’t blame Eugene for reacting the way he did.
Though in seriousness, it sounds like he has some genuine trauma. The lore deepens!
