Another thing that entered pop culture history in 1994? The Cranberries’ “Zombie”, which I hope they address at some point. Got remined of it yesterday by one of the Music Choice channels; it’s not a Halloween song despite its name, but whoever’s in charge of “Sounds of the Season” seems to think so.
Oh my god, a Clerks reference. I’ve been reading this comic for months, and this is the greatest thing to ever happen to me! A Clerks reference! It’s my favorite movie and a comic I love all in one!
Ah Clerks, seen some of it. Not much of a fan of the movie (save the cartoon which didn’t last long) but did dig Mallrats though which ironically comes out the following year in-universe. As well as Dogma.

Kevin Smith is one of my favorite directors and Clerks will always be a classic.
The worst thing? Joel was NOT even supposed to BE in this comic today.

It is RED BANK. Red Bank, New Jersey. Part of Monmouth County.

@Bossda: No, that’s just how Kevin Smith films are written.
SOMEBODY has been watching French Existential Experiment Films, hasn’t he?
Wait, my mistake. Leonardo, New Jersey. Ended up thinking of Dogma.
I wonder if some of the main cast got to go to Redbank and check out the Quick Stop? XD
If Joel could see the world in 2020s, maybe he would think the same.
Well, at least Joel realized the error of his mouth.
Maybe the combined humming of all the fridges and freezers creates some sort of brain-dulling harmonics.
“If we’re so fuckin’ advanced, what are we doin’ workin’ here?”
I know very little about Clerks other than the fact that its animated spin-off was used for this hilarious Phoenix Wrong video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSf-USva10I&t=152s&ab_channel=LazyArchiver
