The airwaves are just as loaded with police procedurals now as they ever were, maybe even more so.
I really wished the Chicago x shows would be a callback to the olden days of Jack Webb’s realistic-enough first responder shows (ADAM-12, Emergency!, etc), but they just made first responder themed soap operas full of character drama instead. At least there’s still the Donald P. Bellisario universe, even if it’s getting a bit long-in-the-tooth.
This should be an interesting arc. Cop Rock is without a doubt the shit stain of embarrassment to cop shows everywhere. No wonder it got canceled after only 11 episodes.
