Vicky listened. She’s going to be the prodigal son, and Ronald is dragging Phyllis down by how weedy he is. That would be ironic. More irony would be Phyllis having her eyes open as well.
Seriously. One good biker Christian that is the exact opposite of Phyllis, but still follows Christian values would tip her over the edge. I just hope she falls the right direction if that ever happens. As for Ronald, who I keep thinking is named roger, well… I’m not supposed to wish bad things on people, even characters in a comic strip. I just hope she’s out of his influence one day.
So this IS a family thing. Now we’re getting somewhere.
Now I’m wondering if there’s any further enabling going on from Ronald’s part. Because there’s no way in Hell this is only a “mom and pop were extremely religious” problem. Otherwise Phyll would actually be getting this through her thick skull.
Phyllis must have been raised in an extremely strict Catholic household… The kind who DO tell you that you better adhere to the doctrines and rules without question, or you’ll go to Hell.
Jesternario, remember in the book of Esther? One of the greatest tales of biblical irony?

Heh way to pivot Vicky. Also pfft seriously, what ya do murder someone?
@Superior Gorilla Oh my gosh! Now I really want to see those two meeting! Joce has to introduce them! 😃

Vicky’s definitely the smarter sister – she just talked Phyllis into doing nothing. 😄

I think Phyllis is headed for a breakdown
“OH, WON’T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!?”
Phyllis, your sister is talking sense and you are not listening.
Vicky and Lars would be a great team on therapy.
If it’ll help Phyllis sleep at night, then sure 😆
