I will simply note that if voting was as useless an enterprise as some people think, they wouldn’t put so much effort into making sure as many people as possible couldn’t.
Jayser’s right. It’s either the main cast of 6-7 people, or it’s a normal classroom of 30-something amount of students that JB refuses to draw.
This is why the gang spends so much time in detention- JB can have as few people there as he wants.
The motto of voting isn’t “One vote can make a difference!” it’s “We missed deciding which interchangeable adults rule our lives? And it changes nothing? We’re still screwed? Why act like this is something special?”
I was gonna ask, are there any other students in that classroom besides the main gang? If so, that’s either an incredibly small class or they just don’t care enough to speak up.
This teacher sure has a lot of patience! I’m impressed.

And democracy is still considered the least worst option.
re the other students: It’s like Star Trek. “I’m responsible for the lives of 148 crew members aboard this ship, 144 of which we never see!”

Honestly, I see Kevin as the type of guy to vote for Ross Perot.
