I’m with Joel on this one. With all the billions of stars out there in the cosmos, orbited by trillions of planets and their respective moons and satellites, it’s ridiculous to think that our little blue dot is the only one in the entire universe to have life on it. But whether that life has decided to pay Earth a visit? Mmmmm….nah, probably not.
I’ve read several stories/comics that explain why aliens would bother coming here. One issue of Marvel Comics Presents said Earth is the only place in the galaxy that makes ice cream. Another said that Earth is the only place that makes proper sandwiches, because Earth is the only place with proper yeast for bread.
I pretty much agree with Joel in the third panel. With the universe being so huge, we can’t be the only spec floating in space with life on it. There MUST be life elsewhere.
As for the UFOs thing, and visiting Earth… well, again, the universe is huge. There MUST be some alien visitors from other planets exploring the space around them and just briefly stop by Earth to explore what we have (and have not) accomplished.

Also, yeah, I agree with Steve on the frozen yogurt.
“Greetings, Earthlings. We have come for the most holiest of artifacts, which can only be found on your world. We come for the “Fruit By the Foot.”

I was kidding when I asked if Steve would keep it in the freezer. 😲
Yeesh. Hope he at least wrapped it. 🤢

For once, I also am inclined to agree with Joel, on all counts.
Nice little arc. Hope we see more of those two alone together in a future arc.
“Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.“

@Superior Gorilla: Steve gets grounded for X amount of years.
Wait until his father opens the freezer and…
I’m with Joel. it just feels like a waste of a universe if only one little part of it has anything going on
Watch your tongue, boy, if you DON’T want aliens to blow you up.
