I seriously hope Phylis gets enough sense and backbone to ditch him soon. She seriously needs an infinitely better example of a Christian man, husband, and father in her life to show her how evil and UNChrist-like Ron really is.
@El-Man: Yes, and I wouldn’t have pegged him to be a fan of “Superman” either? (Which despite the way he spelt “heck”, I still really don’t think he is.)
I really hope we find out how/when this happened. Because I would love to see if Ronald’s parents were as bad/worse as he is, or if they were genuinely good people and Ronnie chose this path himself somehow.
F-ing SERIOUSLY! Someone needs to pound it into Phyllis’ head that she can be a good Christian and STILL stand up to an a-hole like Ronald McDumbass there!

One day, Phyllis will finally break. I just hope that when that happens it’s in a way to create positive change and not break her permanently.

Ronald can’t even say “H-E-double-hockey-sticks”? Jeeze. 🙄

LOL at Jocelyn’s line in the last panel.
If it weren’t for the fact that this is a flashback arc, I’d call this some serious foreshadowing 😆
And Phyllis actually wanting to consult her sister is pretty sad in hindsight cause that implies she still wanted to remain in touch.
Even back then, Ronald was a fucking manipulator!
