And, 30 years later, this would be the motto of the ENTIRE right wing: “The Democrats will make this country a Godless hellscape before WE have the chance to make it a God-FULL hellscape! They MUST BE STOPPED AT ALL COSTS!”
The more things change, the more they stay insane.
And there it is, reich wingers are so narcissistic and incapable of empathy that they truly believe if we; the left and minority population gain power, we will do the same things to them that they did to us over the course of history. There truly is something wrong with the conservative mind.
Ronald’s a narcissist. I think Jocelyn’s got more respect for him than he’s earned.
And I love that Phyllis is like, “Had it not been for the laws of this land, I would’ve left you.”
Honestly, its nice to see Phyllis is more sane in contrast to Ronald. I would like to see Phyllis get some redemption in the future, but it would definitely take a while.
I still appreciate that Phyllis is the lesser of the two evils. Knowing what her sister is like, I’m wondering if it’s foreshadowing to a potential redemption arc… actually kinda hoping for that since Phyllis at least has SOME redeeming qualities compared to the other villains in this comic.
Are we sure this is set in the 90s, not 2024, with the names changed to prothe guilty?
@Toon-Resurrection92
Aide:*whispers* the mic is on.
Ronald: I know it’s on!
That last line of yours, Ron? That’s exactly what’s wrong with you.
Is Ronald’s sarcasm detector broken, is he just not smart enough to get all the snark that Joce throws his way, or is he inured to it by now?

Ronald – “If elected president, my first act will be to kill everyone of you and burn your town to the ground!”
So this is over already, or we will see the grand finale for tomorrow’s sunday strip?
