@Chris Wolvie – I understand that, but there were musicians before Kurt who had died at the age of 27 (Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, etc.).
This might sound morbid, but I’m surprised I’ve yet to hear any 27 Club jokes in this comic, what with that seeming to be especially common among musicians (with Joel’s idol being a member of said club, to boot).
