    @JIMENOPOLIX I feel like if this happened while he was on tour in say, the Twin Cities, they’d have already railroaded his ass the instant he tried to propose his Nazi ideals onto them. It’s a miracle the town hasn’t done so already.

    @ Lonewolf23k Part of me wonders if Phyl’s parents had some… influence on Ronald’s attitude, assuming he didn’t develop these naturally.

    I hoped for this where Phyllis would finally change for the better. She wasn’t the Mach of a villain like Ronald but could do better. Maybe even find a better guy then him!

    Okay, at this point I’ve given up on thinking Phyllis is going to leave Ronald. That last admission proves she’s not just ignorant of his activities, she’s both wilfully in denial, and possibly complicit.

    @Joshua
    If she tries saying anything, Ronald will spin it back to her and make it sound like it WAS her fault. Words aren’t going to do anything to stop him now, only action.

    @Jesternario:
    I agree. No, she’s doesn’t approve of her daughter’s lifestyle — although, honestly, when was she last in a gay relationship? — but she doesn’t act like an unhinged K3 Women’s Auxiliary member about “fixing” it. This earns her a degree of sympathy points imho… which makes it a problem for me when Jocelyn treats her as just as bad as Ronald is.

    @El-Man:
    “[…] Delusional.”
    So what else is new?

    @Peter R.:
    I fear you’ll find you’re talking literally. I’ve never seen that STAR TREK episode where the living satellite blow a fuse after being proven not infallible, and yet I can still imagine Phyllis imitating it once the obvious finally forces itself into her waking consciousness.

    Please, PLEASE don’t let Phyllis be thrown under the bus for his actions.

    Phyllis.

    You already know that the conversion camp requires both signatures.
    You also know that you never personally signed the forms for the conversion camp.

    SAY SOMETHING.

    Yep, typical politician. The moment something goes wrong, their first instinct is to blame someone else. Not that anyone will believe it — Ronald’s spent years conditioning Phyllis to never have a single independent thought whatsoever, so why would she start having them now?

    And just like that, Ronald deserves to be impeached.

    Hilarious. Also look at Steve’s smiling face in the first panel. He can’t take his eyes off her

    When it starts to go wrong, he blames someone else – and his own wife, to boot. How very Christian of you, Ronald. Also, he thinks he has the authority to send other children to camps? Delusional.

    Wow, shifting the blame/throwing your wife under the bus… what a loving Christian.

    And with a whole audience there, everyone will be witnesses to the downfall of Ron and will be spreading the word all over the town/county/state/country/world for years to come.

    I think once Phyllis finds out about the Nazi and the forged signature, that’s gonna be the breaking point.

    Remember when I said in the November 3rd strip that there have been kids and teens who have died in conversion camps? Patricia pretty much pointed that fact out here. Also, if there was a time for Phyllis to take a stand, now is the time.

    Throwing your own wife under the bus like that. If Phyllis doesn’t file for a divorce after this, she is genuinely a lost cause.

    Your daughter hates you so much, she doesn’t even consider you her father. You won the election by rigging the vote because you couldn’t win legitimately. And when you get called out on your bullshit, you shift the blame onto your own wife. Who’s the one who can’t do anything right, Ronnie boy?

    For fuck’s sake, Ronald! You think that by blaming your own wife will make you avoid all the blame?!

    I wonder if THIS’LL finally be Phyllis’ breaking point… but I feel like I’m having too much hope right now 😅

    Time for Phyllis to grow a spine, and in a hurry.
