Not sure I get the meaning of Michelle’s line. Is it supposed to be a metaphor, like the pages of her sketchbook are potential dating partners and she’s running out of them? Or is she implying that Kendra’s literally sketching pictures of Aaron?
Jayster- accidental aimlessness because they can’t put two and two together due to not knowing about the other two is common amongst more then teenagers. Aaron and Kendra are as good a match as anything else. It’s too bad that Aaron’s smitten with Kendra and won’t be dating the hippie chick, but the bright side is it’s Kendra. Similar could be said of Joel, but in both cases that’s judging Denise by her comedy potential. Kendra would offer an interesting-enough relationship beyond her saturday morning cartoons.
Their relationship here is going comparatively smoother than the original, which I definitely appreciate.
I also actually like that their relationship is having faster buildup compared to the original. I know I’ve complained about Joel and Michelle’s relationship, both here and in the original continuity, being rushed a bunch of times. However, the buildup for Aaron and Kendra’s relationship in the original kinda dragged on if I’m honest.
@Freezer: Ah, that makes sense, thanks.
@MegaJar: I think Michelle is saying Kendra can only distract herself from the Aaron question for so long
She’s doing the lip biting thing!

The ship has sailed. Again.

And so the shipping tease truly begins between Aaron and Kendra.
