I never thought I’d wish for a smidgen of old Kevin back, but seeing him punch out Nick would have been nice. On the other hand, this new version of Kevin is too good to change.
Old Kevin would have mopped the floor with this dude without breaking a sweat (or his Ray-Bans for that matter.)

Seeing Kevin cower in fear is not exactly unsurprising but rather an unusually sight to see considering it’s usually pretty difficult to intimidate him.
I feel Kevin’s “wimpy” reaction seems in line with how much he’d been beaten, smacked & punched by girls in the past before his (for lack of proper phrase) heel-faced turn giving him feelings.
Hopefully, Kevin will gain some courage in this arc. Though to be fair, he was kidnapped in the Misery arc, so that previous trauma is still affecting him.
