What a shock, Mole’s complaining about a reboot revisiting an old storyline as cover for complaining about characters he doesn’t like getting the spotlight. Try to act surprised.
Now that that’s out of the way, are we getting the symbolic New New Kevin vs Original Kevin story?
What complaining? This could be very different from the previous Cape Fears, but JB’s done this movie already. It’s not wrong to point out that we’re getting a rerun instead of fresh material. What sort of creepy hunting death does Bonehead #1 threaten Bonehead #2 with? This could have been the Addams Family.
Or, hey, Joscelyn gets a bootleg copy of Prospero’s Books, and is giggling all day. She pulls strings (or wedgies) in the AV club to get the tv and vcr and it’s the best English class she’s had in (unknown time unit.) “How are you going to suspend me for doing the actual homework?”
All three characters are losers in their own way. I can’t see any of them being scary. Let’s see where this goes.
JB’s doing this again?! Is this the 3rd or the 4th time? Is this a favorite movie or is he doing it now because he’d already done it then?
This could have been Fivel goes West, or Beauty and the Beast, or I guess “The people under the stairs.” (looks surprised) November 1991 was when “Prospero’s Books” came out. I never did see the whole thing. (some sort of nude Shakespeare movie.)
This one’s going to be a doozy. I remember back in the last continuity how the previously monstrous incarnation of Kevin stalked Michelle to New York. But this time around, it looks like we are going to get more focus on Amber for this arc, with Nick playing the antagonistic stalker role. What lies ahead will be interesting.
So THIS is what’s gonna happen with this arc. Y’know, out of all the stories from ’91 being revisited, this is the one I was most intrigued in seeing (especially with Kevin’s continuous character development); like if it’d stay “the same” (as a Cape Fear parody) or cover something else.
@ExxorD – Trevor’s not the one whose ass needs a firm boot. Nick is. Trevor is an witness to this exchange, though.
@Christopher Max Wall – Regarding Mole: *insert surprised Pikachu face here*

Quite interesting. A remake of the “Cape Fear” arc with Kevin as the good guy instead? I’d wager he’d kick Trevor’s ass.

@Zach Kenny Your comment made my night LMAO
In seriousness, the comments having an edit button and a thumbs up/thumbs down option would be a nice addition.
@ Mega: If there was a thumbs up option…
Mole204’s complaining about the comic again?! Is this the 9,273rd or the 9,274th time?
Sounds like someone is a little jelly.

“You’re just a pretty boy from California with loads of cash and an expensive car. Why would any girl date you?”
Jeez, how oblivious can you get?
A remake of the original Cape Fear arc, eh? With Kevin now being one of the… good guys, so to speak, it’s interesting to see how this’ll play out.
