It doesn’t say “we regret to inform you”? Either Lindsay read too fast to notice or she’s read letters like this and now assumes all letters have this saying. Or maybe it SHOULD include it but didn’t due to some error and Lindsay just read it as it should’ve been written while Kevin pointed out the “professional” error.
Also, when Lindsay’s report card is supposedly worse than Kevin’s… I agree, something is definitely up with that. No offense to Kevin that is. He’s turned out to be cool.
Principal Hairpiece is stepping on a landmine with a smile on his face. I won’t make a prediction, as I know that JB likes to keep us on our toes, but I will mantain my characteristic optimism and assume things will work out!
MY thoughts: Linds fights this, Mulroney says “suck it”,…the secretary says, “I have access to the real records; let her graduate and I stay quiet”…Moron-y relents.
Both @JIMENOPOLIX and @Jesternario said in yesterday’s strip about Dorkroney not being the only one involved in this plot. One of them referenced Wesley as another possible candidate, although there are many possibilities as well. We could count Jessica out because her story is done like Lindsay’s, and the same goes for Staci. I was thinking about Nick, but he is obsessed to get back Amber from Kevin.
Hang on, now. The report card at the end of the year doesn’t just come out of nowhere. Students always know how they did on their midterms, on their finals, on their various assignments and book reports and whatnot. They have at least a general idea of how well they’re doing, grade-wise, at any given point during the school year. So if Lindsay KNOWS she passed all her tests, got good scores on all her assignments, and yet still got an F at the end of the year? That should immediately set off red flags that something ain’t right.
@TheJayster49 I wouldn’t be surprised if Mulroney sabotaged her report card, again, as a means to make everyone just as boring, 1-dimensional, and obnoxious as him. I really wish he gets fired and replaced. Sorry that I have to also be the guy who calls a few of JB’s characters 1-dimensional. I hate being a negative nancy.
If Mulroney doesn’t lose his job for this, Walter Mondale High is fucked! He now has Lindsay as his fucking puppet. This is heartbreaking, not to mention probably illegal. They gotta fight this tooth and nail.
Also, what is it with this family and Diet Coke? It’s not even a healthier alterative. It’s a literal con.
Just going to throw this out but how do we know Principal Mulroney is behind this?
MULRONEY GONNA PAY FOR THIS!!!!!
I’m wondering if JB is toying with us, the villain turns out to be someone totally unexpected, and not Principal Eyebrows.

If this is Mulroney’s doing and not a malicious hacker, I hope he gets taken to the cleaners.
Holy fuck that third panel of Lindsay is actually heartbreaking. Poor girl.

Congrats Mulroney, you just dug your own grave.

This is either Mulroney’s handy work or another one of Nick’s revenge schemes. Either way, someone needs to answer for this.
@Ghost. I don’t know. Maybe they enjoy the false hope that they are being healthy when they really aren’t.

Man, Mulroney ain’t pulling no punches.
