Is it possible that JB writes his airheaded characters to be more interesting than his normal characters? The confused are used for punchlines more often, making them seem better able to give a witty answer- just a confused one.
When you’re dealing with hippies who have more than likely damaged their brain cells by smoking lots and lots of pot, anything they say can be difficult to construct as a “conversation”.

@Red Rain – I figured this had to do with music since the only “Arrested Development” I’m familiar with is the TV series lol
Now I get it, this arc is based on the hip-hop group Arrested Development and their debut album. I’ll have to listen to them sometime.
