All’s well that ends well. The bad guy lost, the graduates graduate, and Mulroney won’t be sued by the Duquesnes. Best of all, we all get the vicarious thrill of watching the downfall of some hated authority figure. Win-win all around.
Walter Mondale High was finally mended from top to bottom, but not unfortunately Mulroney nor his ways because he never learned sense after being demoted. He’s now a janitor & can be seen scrubbing the bathrooms & locker rooms, where his lies can do no harm. The flies never listen to them anyway.
Bit too late for Mulroney to change, Lindz. He’ll probably die a bitter old man. Of course there’s nothing preventing him from doing it – he just won’t.
Even by cartoon villain standards, it still baffles me that Mulroney clearly thought Lindsay and her parents wouldn’t clap back or that his scheme would hold up if/when they did.
@Ghost. I know. Lindsay certainly has come a long way from her debut in 1990, to her Star Search escapade, to becoming head of the student council and now she and everyone else is moving on to greener pastures. I will admit that over the years this blonde cali girl has won me over.
I have to admit. This is still pretty surreal to see. It feels like only yesterday the Duquesne’s moved to Eden Prairie. Now that her days at Walter Mondale High are over, I’m very excited to see Lindsay and her friends try to make the world a better place. Lindsay should be super proud of herself! 🙂
Yeah, Brad, I think you’re giving Mulroney a bit too much credit (and by “too much” I mean “any at all”). Thanking him for motivating Lindsay to fix the school is like thanking Lex Luthor for motivating Superman to save the day.
Karma has won, at least for now. I cannot help but think Dorkroney will go back to his old ways despite his downfall, but now, vacation time is on the horizon and after that, the new school year will take place, so no Dorkroney until then!
@MattTEHMan1991: My man, up top for the most appropriate Wilbert Awdry paraphrasing ever, and one down low for letting me type that last sentence.

I guess you can’t afford a rug on a janitor’s salary.

Had a feeling the parents were prepping to sue. Linds was gonna graduate one way or another. I’m just glad it ended this way.
And Moron-y,…you HAVE been blessed. It’s not every day you see a “Category 5 dooker”.

@Red Rain Provably a triple decker dump!

BTW, I wonder if Nick has managed to graduate as well or if he has been expelled following the end of “this” arc: https://1990somethingcomic.com/comic/september-26-1992/
For Mulroney? Nah, he’ll be forgotten like last Saturday’s cartoon villain of the week.
I like to picture Kevin’s “big sweaty blessing” is not the kind of blessing that comes out the other end XD
Yeah Mulroney, count yourself lucky you got fired when you did. And I don’t want to know what Kevin meant by “sweaty blessing”
Meh, I’d let Kevin’s horrible act slide this time, Lindsay. As long as the water dripping from his hands came from the sink.
