@Lotso Because there are some things of this story I DO like. It has an interesting set of characters. It’s just how the author constantly makes Lindsay this ‘perfect’ character with no flaws whatsoever. Sure as Zach said, this could change later on but so far, Lindsay’s character isn’t really likable or enteraining.
Plus I’ve already gone over several times of how he makes the antagonists of the series almost interchangeable. All jerks with a inch long short fuse that will from 1 to 100 anger for the slightest problem. For once I like a character for someone like Steve couldn’t simply outsmart or someone that Jocelyn can’t simply punch(Her parents don’t count). They are never seen in the wrong. It’s not fun if it’s so easy for them to outsmart their enemies like that.
@ Gonzo22: You know we’ve still got 8 more years left. There’s still plenty of time for different things to happen & seeing different sides of Lindsay (& others, of course)
I don’t know, Lotso, I think our pal Gonzo here is onto something. Lindsay kinda does come off as a sueish, can-do-no-wrong type of character. She’s just too understanding and unassuming for someone her age and socioeconomic background. One would think she’d be less receptive to more out there characters like, say, Jocelyn, given their differences in taste and lifestyle. IDK, maybe make her just a smidge more prejudiced when faced with unconventional beliefs and worldviews.
@Lotso. I’m just giving out on my opinion. What do you want me to give out nothing but positive criticism on the story. I’m just not liking how Lindsay is portrayed here. It doesn’t make her a relatable or interesting character. I was impressed on how Jbwarner made Rick different but with Lindsay it just not good or impressive at all. She’s just too perfect.
This doesn’t look good and this happens all because Lindsay’s Mary Sueness is being constantly shoved in our faces. She’s so perfect in this version and is incapable of doing anything wrong or bad in any way. This makes me miss her previous incarnation.
While I was proud of what you did with Rick, How Perfect you made Lindsay here is just annoying and boring of how perfect she is. I wish she was more like a mixed of her former self before the reboot. Like someone who had a mean streak but also had a heart and morals.
What happened to that one kid Kevin was hanging out with when he got kicked out of the theater? Maybe he’s not hanging with him anymore.
Either way, it seems like Kevin needs some friends, and we know Joel and crew are on their way…assuming they’re at prom.

@gonzo22 No. But like I said last time: If you don’t like it, DON’T READ IT!

As Mother Gothel once put it:
“You want me to be the bad guy? Fine. Now I’m the bad guy!!”

Wait… is it possible Kevin faked the Star Search acceptance letter as a prank and is now feeling guilty about it?
Could this be the resurrection of Psycho Kevin?
@gonzo22 Just do us all a favor and shut the fuck up!

dang never thought I’d be feeling for Kevin

Mental Breakdown coming up Next Strip.
What, she took that with her? Hmm, perhaps that’s a good idea, _if_ she can get to the xerox room before anything “Carrie, Prom Queen” happens.
We’re finally reaching the breaking point. Countdown in 5, 4…
