@Zach Kenny – I was thinking more “passionate to get things done” sense. Maybe with a little bit of “unleashing repressed fury” thrown into the mix because Tina clearly was on edge when Deb reintroduced herself.
@Mole204: I think this iteration of Tina knows, and understands that Joel isn’t swearing *at* her. She can see that her son is venting, and was made aware that something is about to go wrong. Tina’s face, to me, says “He never does that.” So more than likely, if Tina has the knowledge and charisma, she might stop Deb from exuding power over the town. If not, it’ll come crashing down on Deb eventually. Ask Tina’s mother. lol
@ Jayster: Yeah, almost like her reverting back to her first iteration (at least, in the “passionate to get things done” sense, not the “suddenly turning into another Deb” sense).
If Joel is swearing at his mother, he may have to prepare for her vote going to the other side. I know JB is writing a kinder, and more rational Tina, but there’s nothing to base an assumption that she’s charging off to some sort of rescue here. That would be naive. Clearly she’s going to make things worse, which is more realistic.
Joel should be there, because in a building full of adults there’s no-one else who’s going to point out that the way to teach to a student is to give them wisdom- not to take unrelated things away from them.
@Zach Kenny – Well when you said “at least…”, I was thinking maybe I had to clarify myself a bit.
@ Jayster: Isn’t that what I said? At least, that’s what I meant.
Tina finna to lay the smack down on Debbi!

Tina, you’ve got to kick that woman’s BUTT! She’s begging for it; “Oh, Tina Maxwell, kick my butt!”

Oh boy, Tina’s ready to go off on Deb now.
Alright, mama bear Tina is off to the rescue! I wonder if we might see a more wild side of Tina cause that would be fun.
