The direction of this story arc is genuinely not what I anticipated. I figured from the first page alone, it was going to be a retooling of the original arc that talked about the Rodney King incident, but now that I’ve played attention to the length of the arc, it looks like it’s going to be a bit more than just that.
Hopefully nothing further bad (or worse) happens to Aaron in the rest of the arc. Well actually, I kinda am, because I’m ALSO hoping we can see Vince and/or Kendra stand up for Aaron. That definitely would be a great way to show more of Vince’s friendship with Aaron.
I just remembered that Aaron does know his way to the roof. If they aren’t really in classes can they skip the game and go watch movies? Or are they supposed to stay and root for Vince? Maybe they can just stay in the hallway. The game’s just started.
