@M Yeah, now that you put it like that you’re probably right. It pretty much was the heart eyes emoji that made the joke come off the way I thought it did in its original context
@El-Man Either way, my bad for jumping to conclusions, dude
@Bruh McGee El is predicting that when Westworld gets home, they might celebratory sex, so it’d behoove the housemates/parents to be out of the house. I think the intended tone is supposed to be like a knowing chuckle rather than actively wanting to see it happen.
@El-Man It would probably help prevent giving off the wrong idea to not end your original statement with 😍
@El-Man Dude they’re minors and it still came off out of pocket lmao. They’re literally just celebrating, hugging and kissing like nowhere was it getting steamy like other strips. I get you’re just joking but you still sounded like a weirdo who was actually looking forward to seeing these kids boning lol
Aaaaand thanks to Jos, they’re set up to fail before they even have a chance to start flying. You do not lie about your legal guardians even though they’re assholes, they still have legal authority and will abuse it given the chance.
Girl needs to get herself emancipated, it’s the only way to stop the hypocrite and his pet sycophant.
@El-Man Why are you excited about these underage teenagers having sex? 🤨 I know they do anyway (nothing wrong if it’s done safely and with consent either) but this comment is so out of pocket in this context
@Mr. Tweed: Okay, I’ll put it out here right now, there will be no cheating or breakup stories in Nineteen-Ninety-Something, ever. Breaking up an established likeable couple or friendship for cheap drama is the last resort of a hack writer. I hate hate hate it when fiction does that, and I vowed to never do it myself. So you can rest easy about that one.
We still have alot of 90’s to go, good chance that bad stuff will happen. Cheating, brake up’s, etc. So enjoy the happy conclusion of this story line while we can.
Okay. I’ll be the first to admit that was way too skeptical about how this would all turn out. But now I think I can say without a doubt that this was a good way to end the arc. No maybe Joel can start to have a more positive outlook on life. Or would that tamper with the whole grunge thing?

@Bruh McGee: It’s called humour, dude. You might want to try it one day.
@jbwarner86 Does “established likeable couple” include Ron and Phyllis?

Not gonna lie, this strip had me grinning like a big idiot. This is the kind of feel-good ending I love to see! XD

I’m curious if they’ll keep the name Westworld. I haven’t heard it mentioned for a while now.
I certainly hope everyone’s parents are out of the house tonight. 😍
Well well well! Things did have a positive conclusion after all.
And they all lived happily ever af-…
Oh,…wait,…grunge won’t last forever.
Well, enjoy it while you can, kids! Good going!
Congratulations to you all!

Boo-yeah!
Yes!! Finally! Congrats to Westworld! You have done it. Love the happy ending.
Wait, I meant 2nd. (forgot to include the dropout story this past January)
This is the kind of happy ending that’d take place near the end of the comic’s run! But we’re not even halfway through the 90’s yet!
Well, that’s the first big change up this year. We shall see what else is in store!
Congrats, lads. Ya finally did it
Holy shit a real happy ending!
Well it looks like a happy ending after all XD
