I just read that issue. A lot of Shakespearean drama about Colossus’ brother, but nothing that would be an ‘improper’ costume, not even for Jean. I’m sure there were more publications out there that would be guilty of that, but not that issue of X-Men.
Bleagh!: JB still hasn’t made the original strips available again in any shape or form despite being given advice on how to do so. I don’t think he’ll even listen and make them available again. Your best bet is to pull the site up on the Wayback Archive and see if any archives for the old strips pop up. That’s probably futile too as not all strips have been saved.
The poor kid getting roped into his mothers crusade against everything that we all know and love. She’s was doing cancel culture before it was a thing.
I have to agree with Deb on this one. I don’t know which issue this is (yet) but as rule of thumb, The Hellfire Club has some really questionable outfits. That looks like the Archangel version of Angel.
Meanwhile, as soon any anyone says “age-appropriate” you should be bringing out the Archie, Casper boxes. There probably isn’t enough unsold Beetle Baily or Batman comics at that time, Betty and Veronica are also Archie, and Batman became it’s own overflow category no matter what medium you’re selling, including coffee mugs.
-The Venus de Milo was rediscovered in 1820 on the isle of Milos, and dates back to about 150 BD, making it just older than Jesus.
Deb’s seriously showing some signs of being a female misogynist, and that certainly makes her morals come off as incredibly counterintuitive. Then again, all these moral guardians have backward priorities.
Though, this particular comic book guy is the one person I am perfectly okay with getting annoyed by somebody other than the main gang.

Did you add in a Scott Lobdell comic due to how he’s been found out to be a sex pest?

Is there anywhere I can read the original run of this strip for free?
That boy should be an actor when he grows up. He’s really good at memorizing lines.
Here’s the cover if you want: https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Uncanny_X-Men_Vol_1_286
The Bonfire comes next. {SIGH}
“Since when do shapely women have any place in the world of art?”?!
She don’t know Rubens vewy well, do she?

For once, the Comic Book Guy (what is his real name, anyway?) was not the most obnoxious in the room.

You know you’re a fuckin idiot when Cheetodust McFatass is more intelligent than you.
To be fair, most Marvel and DC Female Superheroes tend to be sexualized too often.
lol she doesn’t even have a camera. What is she accomplishing?
Also, I love that even the usual “antagonists” are annoyed by her
