Thank you for answer xD
I felt that Lindsay mom and the looming existence of Kevin (cuz he wouldn’t be the first one of escaping of “prison” )could have more of an impact and i left that it could be explored because how they could have deal with it, and on the side note i really enjoy Aaron dad and if could have the last straw if his wife find the gun etc.
Yes they all ratter dark but you always know how to end up in an good way, so i didn’t felt it like that they were that darker and grittier.
However i KNOW how much of a burden is to make something without the initial enjoyment one first have, so as long as your are happy making this comic, we will happy to.
Again thank you for answering and sorry for not remember the characters names and my orthographic, English is not my first language :p
To answer GabrielG’s question, I didn’t like how bitter and angsty and overly dramatic I let the series get the first time. My goal was to make the kind of comics I would enjoy reading, but I got too hung up trying to follow the trend of going darker and grittier because I figured that’s what people wanted to read. Instead, people were telling me that I’d gone so dark that reading the strip was getting legitimately uncomfortable, and I couldn’t help but agree.
It all got so unpleasant that I just looked back over what I’d made and thought “Screw it, I’m starting over.” I didn’t want that bitter angsty version of the series to be my legacy – I want to give people a break from the harshness of reality, not beat them over the head with it.
Soo I’ve been wondering this for a while(and if somebody can gime a link or something if they already answer this question) but, if you are gonna reintroduce the same characters in the same setting why rebooting anyways ?
Like yeah, Kevin was a downright sociopath, but is was wroth it because we get to see Lindsay reform in a nice person.
Good to see that Kevin is a bit more humanized in this strip. He’s still a douche, but definitely more similar to his Forever Sixteen counterpart. And it looks like Lindsay will be nicer in this continuity.
A more human Kevin? Lindsey looks the same. There’s nothing wrong with a little avariciousness to them, but as long as they’re not the life ruiners of the previous version, there’s always room for more clueless airheads in the gang.
I kinda like the subtle changes to Kevin’s appearance. He looks more like a stereotypical douche, yet doesn’t feel QUITE as ominous.
I also like that Joel doesn’t immediately go head over heels for Lindsay like he did in the original, and Lindsay doesn’t immediately establish herself as a raging bitch (both personality and appearance-wise).
Considering we saw Marion in previous strips, I was hoping to see Aaron in this particular strip. Maybe with HIM being the one falling head over heels for Lindsay. Alas, that was merely a dream that has yet to come.

I like the change in how we see Kevin’s eyes from the start this time around.
He looks less like a demon in human skin now.
At least he doesn’t seem like a rapist anymore.
Okay, Lindsay seems a bit more tolerable and I don’t wanna automatically put Kevin in a stranglehold. That’s a good start.
Well, Kevin is still a jerk. But he doesn’t seem like a psychopathic jerk.
Ayup…these two haven’t changed…much, anyway.
Seems these two will have some positive traits this time.

Well, at least Kevin seems like he’ll just be an adversary instead of a budding serial killer in this continuity.
Kevin is just as charming as ever I see. Lindsay seems better tho
Hello Again, Kevin and Lindsay…
Promising start to Lindsay. She’s not insulting anyone, for one thing.
Loving these two already
