I have never read the original version of this comic. From what I understand, this comic can be best described as “What if last comic, but all the main characters were likeable.”
I love how much healthier Tina and William’s relationship in the reboot is compared to the original. I know that’s already been established but it’s still funny seeing Tina be more open about getting frisky with her husband after a decade of her being an uptight conservative LOL
Sometimes real life is crazier then fiction.
Ha ha, continuity!

@Toon-Resurrection92: Wait, Sheena Easton did a cover of “9 to 5”?
*googles*
Oh! “Morning Train!” Didn’t know that had an alternate title!
It’s always a cringe moment when you think of your parents getting it on… 😁
Is it me or do I hear Sheena Easton’s 9 to 5 when I read the flashback?
Hah, leaning on the fourth wall.
Yeah, that was some info Katy did not need to know in the second to last panel.
@Zach Kenny Given William’s last response, and when we’ve seen him in certain situations, he seems like a combination of the two.
Seeing these characters’ backstory is a treat!
@ M: I think JB said he envisioned William as either Chevy Chase or Eugene Levy (I forget which) and Tina as Kathy Bates.
Check your Patreon messages. I finished the edit of your newest pic.
Also imagine Joel’s reaction to hearing that his parents did it on the couch. He and Katy would probably agree to burn it in the backyard. XD
@M – Holy friggin’ crap, I TOTALLY see that now LMAO
Reading this page made me think Tom Kenny & Jill Talley would work as Will & Tina’s voices, respectively.
I wish they were the main protagonists of another flashback story because they deserved it!

Nice callback to last Tuesday, Will.
