BTW, in 2004 it was the turn of Dasani water (produced by CocaCola) found to have dangerous levels of Bromate and withdrawn from sale in the UK in 2004. Also, they tried to sell it by advertising it as “Full of spunk!” which does not mean the same in British English as it does in American English. It started production in 1999, so that probably wasn’t what they were talking about.
@jbwarner86: When I said I’ve only ever seen her drink wine, I was actually more referring to what I can recall from the original continuity. The reason being that I am aware she hasn’t been seen drinking anything alcoholic so far in the reboot, but if she DID drink, I figured wine would be her primary beverage.
TheJayster49: Actually, you haven’t seen her drinking wine, because in this continuity, I’ve made it a point to always depict Patricia drinking either tea or coffee. That was a deliberate attempt on my part to show that she’s not an alcoholic. So don’t worry – of all the ways this arc could go, it’s not gonna be that 🙂
Carelessly stupid, or cluelessly stupid? Either one, she’s a nicer Patricia. Model One would be doing that to make the wage slaves clean up the broken glass.
I’m certainly jumping the gun here, and only because I got the wrong idea at first before reading the actual text. Anyways, I’m getting the feeling that, unless Patricia no longer drinks in this continuity, she might at one day try to convince Lindsay to start drinking.
Granted, I’ve only ever seen Patricia drink wine, which is harmless in small amounts. Plus, knowing the Duquesnes, they won’t settle for cheap wine either.
@DrMGrowth Yes, but actually no.

The stories in the news were crazy over hyped, but it was a real thing in the early 1990s.

And so the journey begins. Honestly, I didn’t know about the Perrier recall until I looked it up.
