Well, she snuck out of the convent, to get vengeance on her rival.
She’s a bitch in a fedora, and her eyebrows are shaved off.
Who knows where she’ll pop up next time? We’re all dreading her arrival.
Tell me, where in the world is Jessica Sullivan?
There’s the parting taunt by Jessica, to draw the arc to a close. She seems better drawn than last time. And still insulting and acting like she cares about Lindsay at the same time.
It’s too bad that Wesley was the Love Note villain. He was just so easy, too easy, for “who’s could be the desperate pervo behind this?” that he would have been much better used as a red herring for “the real villain.”
At least Good Lindsey didn’t get three-room-thrashed, or stuck at the bottom of a 1800’s well at Anne Misery’s house.
I’m guessing this won’t be the last of Jessica, which if we’re going to be given some backstory on Lindsay, I’m actually pretty excited about that.
And seeing as how this is the last strip before the Sunday strip (technically making this the end of the current arc), I will admit my feelings for this storyline was incredibly mixed.
On one hand, I really like how it explored Lindsay’s character a bit more and provided some potential foreshadowing. On the other hand, I sincerely wish the main antagonist of this arc was someone other than Wesley. Like I just thought it would’ve been more tolerable if there was a plot twist where Wesley was either smarter than he looked or if he was replaced by an original character who was more cunning. Not to mention the fact that he basically got away with his actions.
Plus I felt the scenes with Jessica (excluding this one) were a bit over-the-top, mainly because I found it a bit difficult to take a former alpha bitch cheerleader acting like a potential psychopath all that seriously. I mean I get she was playing the role of Hannibal Lector, but still.
@Red Rain
Who is Cindy, anyway? Someone from the old continuity?
@Chris Wolvie
Doo-wop, doobie doobie doo-wop, doobie doobie

Well, Cindy is about to get an unpleasant surprise off-screen.
