Okay dude I know you had to be blunt but I think you got the point across two strips ago. You don’t have to lay it on that thick.
A bad penny always turns up. The wicked never perish. Bad weeds never die… Welp, I’ve run out of phrases.
30 years later, with indications the youth are skewing more conservative, Jocelyn’s argument holds much less water.
She can’t vote /now/, Phyllis. Give it a year.
And I wonder if Ronald believes in electrons now.
Unfortunately, a lot more of “them” vote.
Too bad he will be as good as new when he next appears.
Please let this be the year Phyllis takes off her blinders. I know it’s been sort of hinted at, but don’t tease us, JB. Let there be some character development in this family.
The first time I voted was during the 2016 election when you know who took office the first time. And Jocelyn is talking sense.
Funnily enough, the first time I was able to vote was in 2020 during the pandemic. Sadly I wasn’t able to vote when Trump ran the first time.
Jocelyn’s lecture in the third panel is going to hold a lot of weight 30 years later.
