Aww how sweet, tis nice that acting like a real human being in this version and that they have a good relationship. Also I can relate, I wanna do something exciting before I get too old to do so.
Why hello there, uncensored female nudity! What a nice surprise to see you here!
In all seriousness, though, I actually find this pretty wholesome. Yes, Patricia’s naked, but it’s not presented as fan service or overly sleazy or crass. It’s portraying the aftermath of a loving married couple just after being intimate with each other. I actually find that quite heartwarming.
Ah, the dream of adventure meets the reality of the uncivilized (i.e. no AC or indoor plumbing) world. Although if I had a Patricia with me, I’d be WAY more motivated to stay on the road.
@TheJayster I’m not seeing any flaws, and I think I’ve got a really good view.
JB, what possessed you to throw in a “I missed April 1st and I don’t care” ‘strip like this?
Actually Jesse’s made a few nude pin-ups on his DeviantArt account before, but he hasn’t made anymore in the years since then. Though he does still occasionally draw some nudity here and there, it’s mostly concealed (e.g. a character with their breasts exposed that’s turned away from the audience).
It’s actually very nice to see these two have a far more healthy relationship this time around (even though I’ve probably said that a bunch of times now). I also find it interesting how Patricia underwent character development even though there’s hardly any focus on her. Like, she started off as a toned down version of her original self but gradually became more supportive and aware of her flaws.
Overall, I really like how Lindsay and her family are portrayed in the reboot. Definitely a MASSIVE improvement.
You know what no one’s going to talk about? The plot. Patricia’s still looking for something to do. That might be a motivation later. Who knows what crazy hijinks she may cause.
As for the art, OK I was wrong. JB can draw nudes. And without tattoos.
UNCENSORED NUDITY!
Holy macaroni! Lindsay’s mom has got it goin’ on!

And yes, nekkid-ness. -Whistles-
Midlife crises aren’t exclusive to men, but back then, we didn’t know that at the time.
Okay, NSFW aside, I really like these guys. I’ll take them over their old incarnations any day.
…
Hot….damn. O//o

Woah mama!! This was very unexpected!
This is why doors have locks. Steve, Jocelyn, pay attention.
@TheJayster Fully agreed. The Duquesne family is so much more interesting to read about now. I’m actually invested in their arcs.
Just checked you DA page, you have 1998 pics in your “All” section and I just think that’s pretty cool coincidence.

Wow.
I’m sure you’ve drawn female nudity before, but I think this may be the first time it’s ever appeared in your comic.
Okay, that was certainly unexpected. Also, City Slickers is a underrated comedy.
@Mole204
I noticed Patricia’s rather self-conscious and, as this strip continues to demonstrate, is going through bit of a mid-life crisis.

Wow. There’s something I didn’t expect to see in this comic.

I apologize for the misspelling, clearly I was distracted.
Oh, thefe are words.
