Oh yeah cause barging into a recording session is really gonna convince them to take your demo now. Also how did she know they were recording in there?
A great example of extermism. Becca refuses to actually understand what is being told to her, even by those who would possibly share her point of view, and rewords it to hate on whatever it is she hates.
In the voice of David Attenborough: We see here the first in a long line of what will become A 3rd and 4th wave feminist cross bread with what later will be known as A “karren” you can tell this by her two tone hair, and general additude towards any one with a XY cromazone.
In the early 90’s with Feminist punk music on the rise more of this varient of militant feminist started to appear, but by the 21st century they will have mostly died out.
@Matermass: I don’t think this was an actual movement in the ’90s, but Beck’s behavior in this story is based on a pretty common misunderstanding of what the riot grrrl movement was all about. It was essentially third-wave feminism with a punk DIY attitude, but a lot of people thought it was some sort of militant form of misandry. Which is why it could never go mainstream like grunge did. Sexism was (and still is, in a lot of ways) so ingrained in American society that any woman standing up for herself against a broken system was inherently seen as a psycho.
The joke here is that Beck took that misunderstanding at face value and thought this is what riot grrrl actually is.
Either Aaron will get punched or slapped by Becca, which will result in Jocelyn punching her back harder… or Jocelyn will reveal the obvious facts about the band she’s in which will throw Becca for a loop.
Either way, can’t wait for Becca to crumble apart.
Also, how hypocritical of her to say the boss would be misogynistic…
So here’s where she finds out Jocelyn’s not only not the lead singer but she’s in a band that’s 3/4 male and *founded* by a male. This won’t go down well.
I was wondering when the rest of the male crowd was gonna get in on this. Though considering Aaron has a conservative father, he’s probably used to this by now lol
(Granted, Rick doesn’t seem anywhere near as conservative as Becca, amazingly enough).

Yay! Our favorite receptionist is back and Becca is fixing to loose a few screws. 😁
people like Becca have always existed, unfortunately.
But I thought that the Nazi-feminist extremist movement was born in the early 2000s
Had a feeling this confrontation was coming lol
“Jeez, *don’t* say hi” — I heard this in Joel Hodgson’s voice
Jeez what a karen.
@TheJayster49: Also, if Rick were there to (supposedly) defend his son, he would end up talking about his days in Vietnam as usual.
As for Becca, it looks like everything is over for her.

Guessing the red light was on, but Becca DGAF. Hello, security?

Oh boy, this is not gonna end well.

Receptionist lady is back, yay.
And also, shit’s about to go down
Uh oh!
