@Zach Kenny I hear ya, I was sorta hoping that too. I loved them as a kid and still like Billy’s work, but yeah I forgot about all the band drama after Siamese Dream came out.
OK, did we skip some time? Because Westworld is remarkable calm about getting to meet the Beastie boys. For that matter, they’re still acting like they haven’t recorded an entire studio album, had it chart NATIONWIDE, and performed on Letterman. If I’d done that at 17, I wouldn’t still be acting like an angsty highschooler.

Well, it’s nice to see things are lightening up.
At least for now.
So are we just slandering the Smashing Pumpkins here, or were they genuinely considered unpleasant to be around?
RIP Adam “MCA” Yauch. Love the wisdom The Beastie Boys gave out.
At least, there are some bands with a very good friendship between their members.
At least something positive has come out of all this.
Obligatory RIP to Adam Yauch, AKA MCA
……. OK, disregard what I said yesterday about the Pumpkins being the unexpected heroes of this arc.
Glad to see there are bands/musicians in this universe with real wisdom and not the kind of wisdom that’s usually clouded by drug use 🤣
