Oh hey this is one of the strips I remember from the previous continuity. Kinda liked it better they were under the tree last time if am honest, but ah well. Indeed tis interesting to see Kevin in the mix this time out. Still a little douche-y but hey better then a grade a psycho. it’s cute. Great work.
That’s actually kind of impressive, that Kevin is actually self-aware enough to recognize this pattern and try to avoid it. Not that he has much hope of succeeding, but still!
I gotta hand it to ya, Jess. I mean, in the previous continuity, we would’ve never seen Kevin interacting with Steve and Joss, not in a positive light and/or all that often anyway, and that’s not even bringing up Amber and the rest of the cheer squad aside from Lindsay, naturally. It’s just really fun to see so here’s hoping you continue to give some of the spotlight to the ancillary characters.
Give it about seven or eight years and those girls in the top two panels’ll be singin’ a different tune. I gotta give Kevin credit for trying to salvage his dignity and his game there in that last panel.
