Oy second verse, same as the first. Change the station already Deb.

Wondering if we’ll get Jacob’s dad showing up again, and taking custody…

Bruh Moment- Hey, everyone can agree that “I’m taking things, choices, and learning away from my children! I’m such a good parent!” is incorrect. Yes, there’s extremes, like First Keven and every version of Joscelin, but those are outliers and writer’s favorites. The parenting vs media scare of ’90s was wrong- at the time. Wrong targets, wrong reasons, wrong rationalizations. Fox tv needed to tone things down, but not everyone and everything.

It’s too bad that Demolition Man is in 1993, because Jacob would make for a good Background Guy of the Banana-Broccoli Shake Type Future trying to survive the two-man carpet bombing that is an action film. Or maybe he could fall asleep after reading some Paranoia RPG modules of Michelle’s.

I so wanna smack her in the face!

She’s just as unbearable as a “Rosa de Guadalupe” episode!

Fun Fact: This whole arc I’d dive to the comment section every single time I opened this website just because I already hate Deb THAT MUCH. Safe to say, based on the comments, I saved myself from popping multiple blood vessels.

I was raised by this woman. I desperately hope something dreadfully unpleasant happens to her very soon. Which, coincidentally, was a constant hope of my childhood as well.

Aren’t you tired of being nice, Tina? Don’t you just wanna go apeshit?

Debra is starting to really show her true colors now.

Nice use of the lines from the movie.

    Personal space Deb?

It did, Christopher. And it will be interesting to see who will read Deb the riot act when that arc comes around. Also, I think Jacob will stand up to his mom in a later arc

@Red Rain: Didn’t that end with Tina’s mom showing up and pre-enacting the Dr. Nora episode of Fraiser?

Okay, I’m pretty sure Deb was raised in a Bible Belt Town or City. Considering that Tina in the previous iteration of the strip got a wake up call and heel realization when the Larry King Live Arc rolled around, hopefully the same thing happens to Deb. But I could be wrong.

Oh, things change all right, Deb. Things change… Just wait and see!

Tina looks like she’s reaching her breaking point almost as much as Deb is. It’d be awesome (and kinda funny) to see this two break out into a catfight XD
