And so the cycle continues… Deb will totes crap her pants when she finds out about Night Trap. Cause it’s one year too early for a certain game to come out.
Unlike previous generations who went all-in for Prohibition, Civil Rights marches, anti-war, and all that stuff, the “Our teenagers must be protected” only managed to capture the ear of the negligent but wanting to pounce parents of the time. While that was numerically enough to cause all sort of conversations like the one depicted in today’s comic, they really managed to lose the crucial component in it. All it did was annoy teenagers who were more able to critically observe the situation than their parents who fell for the most trumped up unsubstantiated News-rumors they could. It would be funny if it wasn’t so dumb.
And shit just went from bad to worse. Deb’s downfall will be oh so worth it in the end. But this makes me wonder how Deb ended up divorced. I wonder if her ex-husband was the definition of henpecked or if he’s even worse than Deb. Therefore, I kind of hope Jacob’s dad appears in a later arc so we know what kind of person he is.

Sorry, Sonia Blade. Maybe next year.
To be fair (and balanced): Many of the same people who went “all-in” on Prohibition went all in *against* Civil Rights.

Louise knows her youngest daughter well, but needs to pay more attention to her eldest.

Hate to admit it but Louise brings up a valid argument with Jenny.
