The hero is heroic, Ashly got her toy back, and there’s no fallout that anyone cares about. Sounds like a perfect day!
But if the door locks from inside, then all Aaron needs is Joel to open the door. Given that Aaron couldn’t climb a drainpipe without breaking his leg that one time, I wouldn’t let him jump for it.
With how jaded pretty much all the school personnel are, I’m amazed they haven’t just given up yet. Then again, if shows like “Beavis and Butthead” have taught me anything about the world of fiction, its that teachers can only function under enough caffeine and drugs before they reach a breaking point.
And @Zach Kenny, recurring antagonists like Mulroney, Tucker, and Kevin aren’t TOO bad because, well, they’re recurring. Meaning that they’ll have a chance at character growth (and Kevin’s already at a much overdue starting point after the “Misery” arc).
However, most if not all the minor/one-shot antagonists have like no personality whatsoever, and only ever really seem to respond to anything by screaming angrily like a lunatic (Jessica, Zeke, Allie, that McDonald’s manager, etc). The frequency of these types of characters is why it’s getting tiring.
Hang on. Steve’s line in panel 2 makes no sense. When someone says “you can’t even do X, let alone Y”, X is supposed to be easier than Y, not harder — “you can’t even remember what you had for breakfast this morning, let alone last year”, “he can’t even run two yards, let alone twenty miles”, and so on.
To all you guys talking about the antagonists being one-note/boring, lemme just say this: we’re only one year in. We’ve still got 9 years to see how Mulroney, Tucker, Kevin and others will be handled (be it development, seeing more to them, etc). I don’t wanna speak for Jesse, but we should still give it a chance.
{sorry, this is more a comment with what everyone was talking about yesterday regarding that topic}

Well that was a quick resolution lol

All is good again. xD Except for Aaron. lol He tries.
Well, looks like almost everyone is happy. Sorry Aaron.
I love that Ashleigh is so dimwitted and vapid she dismisses Steve’s points.
