As much as the whole “calling Link Zelda” cliche annoys me,it’s the stereotypical holier-than-thou attitude held by fictional comic book store owners that irritates me more. Let’s see any of them actually create a comic and have it critiqued.
You know, he COULD have been referring to Zelda the GAME, not Zelda the character. As in, “I kinda want this poster of [The Legend of] Zelda”.
Also, I love how Steve just keeps grinning like he doesn’t have a care in the world. He’s completely unflappable, no matter what life throws at him or what douchebag tries to step to him.
If they would just marry, he’d have to take her name. She outranks him as well as having the title drop name. They should have renamed the series decades ago. Would you always call him Mario if the title was Peach?
It’s getting vicious in the last panel, there.
Oh god, THIS again. I REALLY hope that Steve puts that bastard in his place. I would have politely told Aaron that the one on the poster is Link, and not Zelda, and left it at that.
