The guy definitely needs to be brought down a peg. On the other hand, to be fair, Steve’s Hammerhead comics have no actual plot, and are just violent revenge fantasies against parodies of real townsfolk, so there are some legit problematics with selling them openly.
@Christopher Max Wall: I do it in the hopes that Jbwarner learns some things about constructive criticism. I do like his stories at times it’s just the way he’s makes the villains so bland, Over the top and interchangerable. It just makes reading these stories predictable and less fun to read. I feel like apart just can’t since I’ve come too far into the series to just quit on it.
@LazyP: That’s how big of a comics nerd he is; he knows who Fletcher Hanks is IN 1991
@gonzo22: Dude, why do you keep coming here if all you ever have to say is complaints about the writing? At least find more than one thing to complain about.
With how predictable these stories go. Steve is going easily outsmart and/or humiliate this guy and the guy is just going to lose his cool when anything doesn’t go his way because he’s just a one-dimensional jerk with no other trait than ‘Be a jerk and get angry and scream’
I can see it. The guy is gonna either say he hates it because he hates Steve, or he’s gonna rip it all apart, along with saying he hates it because he hates Steve. I hope he tears that guy a new one in a way where he’ll be flabbergasted. xD
I’m just wondering how Steve will get in, then out, of the school’s copy room with a knapsack full of xeroxed Hammerhead. Desktop laser printing really has come a long way, aside from all the ways it has to choke on it’s own toner.
Watchmen, we know JB has read. Stardust, that was unexpected. (yes, I had to look them up)
Considering Steve’s comics, from what we’ve seen so far, look basically like a sketchier version of this comic’s art style, he’s doing “realistic” artwork at an almost professional level XD

And Aaron? Stop helping, please.

Would he even know who Fletcher Hanks was? Thought his stuff didn’t get re-discovered until the 2000s. The first collection wasn’t printed until 2007.

Oh, this guy. Though admittedly, Fletcher Hanks was pretty bad, as Stardust was basically a blatant rip-off of Superman.
