Everyone is curious how this is gonna turn out and so am I.
In both previous versions, Denise was into Joel but he turns her down. In the first iteration it was because he couldn’t deal with her body hair. In the second, her new age stuff got on his nerves. BUT… it’s already been established that this version of Joel is willing to make out with a girl he doesn’t like. So how’s this going to play out?
Ah, the hippie chick. And all that entails. Not just Joel dating, not just “we never got to see enough Rick and/vs Denise”, but that whole thing with him bailing at the first sight of naked hippie chick. Denise is an interesting subplot.
Oh yes, we’re going to see Joel’s dating adventures again. Will be interesting to see what happens when he hooks up with the Sinead O’Connor fangirl this time around.
