“Would this be considered classical music?” is an interesting question, as far as TNG goes. There is actually no mention or reference, as far as I can remember, to any music that was created by Earth after the 20th century. Picard listens to what we call classical music, and there’s jazz and all that, but, apparently, no new styles of music, or new music at all, was created after Vulcans arrived.
Voyager would call this “classical”, but then, that was Voyager, it called anything from the 20th century “ancient” or “classical”.

Yu could do a weekly comic strip on the Katy/Starfleet premise alone!
😀

“Computer, load program Katy Fantasy 37” 😀
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
LOL.
Yep, that’s the moment the chapter’s built around.
Heh, Barkley gets a cameo. I remember liking him better in the A-Team, but TNG was much… quieter.
“You can’t just sit here in the dark listening to classical music.”
– Turanga Leela, in response to Fry playing *Baby Got Back* in the year 3000.
