Even though there is still that sibling wearisome between Katy and Joel, their brother/sister relationship is much more pleasant and healthier than the first time around which I have to admire. It’s quite the breath of fresh air compared to exhausted sibling tropes of them in constant belittlement and rivalry.
@Mole204: I think the implication is that Katy slipped the book into Brian’s backpack when he wasn’t looking, thus guaranteeing that he would call her in order to return it. Clever girl!
If it is really centered around Joel, that would most likely mean Katey’s clumbsy attempts at hitting up Brian over the phone and such, while Joel keeps getting underfoot in innocent “But I live here.” ways.
So does this mean that Katey just lost her English textbook?
For a second, I was expecting this to be a retelling of that one arc where Katy ends up busting that one student she had a crush on for theft. I saw the name of the arc and realized that it’s going to be Joel-centered, which I’ll admit bummed me out a bit because the original arc was pretty funny.
Regardless, what home adventures shall Joel present to us this week? Find out tomorrow night on Nineteen-Ninety-Something.

I mean, I think it would make sense it it were centered around Katy, but I guess this works, too
Joel, being studious and being cunning are two different things.

Katy, you crafty girl. And it will be interesting to get more inside the mind of Joel.
So far, I’m intrigued.
