Unnecessary slam against the Monkees, but I get it- a band created by executive committee. Still, the Monkees rose above it, unlike so many other, more recent boy bands…
But considering this is 30 years ago when the idea that males can also be victims of sexual harassment wasn’t penetrating anyone’s brain, I can excuse you for not knowing this.
Don’t be a dick, Joel. The reason it’s okay when the puppets talk back to the screen is because they’re not surrounded by people who paid to be there and watch the thing, and the movie can’t hear them.
Tina’s taking Katy and Ashleigh’s overblown request better than she usually does (though this is probably one of the few times where Tina flat out refusing Katy’s request would be legit justified) XD
Speaking of which, I like Ashleigh’s redesign here. She looks very ’80s for someone that’s now living in the ’90s lol

@Needfuldoer: I know. I was making a joke.
Katy and Ashleigh are back at it again! And this time, more bearable!
@Jim: Smash Mouth’s “I’m a Believer” is a cover of a 1966 single by The Monkees. It was written by Neil Diamond.
Are Katy and Ash adorkable yet?

Joel, that’s a Smash Mouth song. You’ve got to wait another 10 years for them.
Hey, I didn’t get to go to the New Kids when they came to my town in 1989 or 1990, and I lived. I think.
That’s sexual assault, Katy.

Jeez, Joel, I get you’re not a New Kids fan, but c’mon . . .
Okay, the brick joke in the last panel made me laugh out loud. Love it

Okay, Joel’s line in the last panel cracked me up.
