Joce’s parents are going to be a problem, but I AM interested in how she’ll manage it. I either predict a one-strip trick, or about a week dedicated to it.
I checked on JB’s DeviantART the other day and I saw all the early versions of the entire cast. Steve’s was way too different with a seemingly chubby look with no hat and a bad guy face, and now he looks like the cool dude he is now (even with supposedly neglecting parents by the way).
Now we have to see how Jocelyn’s folks (and Vicky) will react to her decision of dropping school.
Well, that takes care of Aaron and Steve. Now for Jocelyn. This is not gonna go well with her folks, especially with Ronald, though I imagine her Aunt Vicky will be supportive.

Also realized this is the first time we see Steve’s mom. So she’s a business woman of sorts, eh? I don’t recall that being established in the original, so that’s a nice if incredibly brief development.
